Slade Construction was able to turn a dark and low-ceilinged basement room from the 50’s into a bright and modern bedroom. Trent’s suggestions helped us with the design we wanted. Trent used every inch of height in the low room, carefully boxing in the pipes in the ceiling. Then, he cut and installed as large window as possible to bring light into the basement. In addition, he turned an awkward cupboard into a desk nook plus a sleek closet with a mirrored door. He went to a lot of trouble to make sure the baseboard and flooring in the new room matched the rest of the finished rooms in the basement. The lights and electrical heat work perfectly. The result of all these steps is a bright and clean student bedroom.
Not only that, but Trenton and his team did it on time and on budget. Trent was careful to keep us involved at each step of the way so that there were no surprises... (and) he was meticulous in cleanup. It really made our lives easier.
