Trenton Slade — Trent, in person — is much more than the owner and president of Slade Construction. He is also its heart and soul, its voice and handshake.

When a new project takes shape, Trent is the one who brings the vision to life. He is constantly on the move, juggling a thousand priorities without dropping the ball for anyone.

As you would expect from a man in his position, Trent thinks fast on his feet and always finds the humour in any situation. Trusted by contractors and customers alike, he can bring projects to life like no one else—and he never quits until the job is done. Married for 26 years to his wife, Louisa, they have three children, three cats and one dog (right now). Living in Summerland since 1998, Trent has been a part of this community for a long time.

Louisa does a little bit of everything at Slade Construction. She keeps the world turning while she also runs Summerland Gardenscapes, a full service company offering landscaping services from Peachland to Naramata and everywhere in between.
